Krishak Jagat was the pioneer of agriculture and rural news in India when it was launched as a weekly magazine back in 1946. Since then, our magazine has had a rich heritage of publishing vital information, important reports and in depth knowledge in regards to agriculture conditions of India. Over 70 years of experience has made us adept at understanding the pulse of agriculture and farmers of India.

Our Founders

Krishak Jagat was founded by Shri Manik Chandra Bondriya and his younger brother Shri Suresh Chandra Gangrade in 1946. The two were like minded and patriotic freedom fighters that after their freedom struggle, wanted to do something for the good of the nation. And hence, stemming from these noble endeavours, Krishak Jagat was born.

Marching towards excellence

We started in 1946 from Nagpur, which was the capital of Central Province and Berar at the time and then moved to Bhopal, the capital of the newly formed state of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1957. Krishak Jagat has now come a long way since its inception and boasts of a plethora of publications which includes books, magazines and an annual diary.

Products & Publications

We have three editions which are published from Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Raipur (Chhattisgarh) and Jaipur (Rajasthan).
Krishak Jagat publishes series of special issues every year ranging from seeds to post harvest management. These include Farm machinery, Kharif, Rabi, Paddy Special, Plant protection, Weedicides, Fertilizers, Horticulture among others.
In-depth analysis and thorough research is done to develop these special issues and booklets to cater to the needs of the farmers. Our greatest resource has been our subscribers and patron advertisers who have showed faith in our endeavours and our sustained efforts to make a difference in the agriculture scenario of India.

Social Responsibility – KJ Education Society

Krishak Jagat has always aimed for the betterment of the society and especially of the farmers and hence, KJ Education Society was launched. It is a separate on ground force that travels across the length and breadth of the entire state (M.P) and helps in creating awareness, educate females and let farmers know about the latest development in the field of agriculture.
Many “Farm Field Schools” have been conducted by KJ Education Society over the years that helps in the overall development of the farmers, women and the society as a whole.
