First Agriculture Newspaper in India (1946)
Krishak Jagat, the Indian Agriculture Newspaper was founded by Shri Manik Chandra Bondriya and his younger brother Shri Suresh Chandra Gangrade in 1946. The two were like minded and patriotic freedom fighters who wanted to help the Indian farming community. The farming community was badly affected by economic and social circumstances. To improve the information and technology availability for the farmers, Krishak Jagat National Agriculture Newspaper was started.
